Mrs. Swaim was born October 12, 1918 to the late Joe and Alice Laster Lyons. She was a member of Swan Creek Baptist Church and retired from Chatham Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul W. Swaim; and four sisters. Surviving are her daughter, Carol (Ronald) Dunsford, Jonesville; four grandchildren: Shelia Jolly, Jonesville, Michael (Lori) Armsrtong, Mooresville, Crystal (David) Bright, Ennice; and Tammy (Tommy) Dampier, Deland Florida; nine great-grandchildren: Tony Jolly, Dakota Gentry, Pachia Bright, Madison Armstrong, Joshua Armstrong, Abigail Armstrong, Jessika Armstrong, Tiffany Dampier and Tori Dampier; one great-great-grandson, Christian Dampier; two sisters, Mary Luffman and Estelle Lyons; brother-in-law, Wayde & Pansy Swaim; two sisters-in-law, AnnaLee Swaim Jarvis and Jessie Mae Swaim. The family will receive friends from ! 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. Her Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Swan Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Evan Bass and the Rev. Nat Thompson. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the Service.
