She was born October 27, 1925 to the late Silas Monroe and Ida Casstevens Calloway. She attended Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, NC and Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Spencer Gregory and by her daughter Joan Gregory Delemater, five sisters, Della Holcomb, Ethel Casstevens, Ruby Whitaker, Hazel Thomason, Dollie Brown; six brothers, rufford, Albert, Thomas, Bill, Vance and Paul Calloway. Surviving are her son, William "Spencer" Gregory, Jr., of Stumpy Point, NC; by her granddaughter, Monica Delemater; and son-in-law, Steve Delemater of Chambersburg, PA. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 PM Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM Sunday in the Harmony Grove Fri! ends Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Bill Hale.
