Mrs. Wagoner was born in Moore County on January 2, 1934 to the late Rev. D.L. and Mittie Clodfelter Temple. She had retired for Sprint Communications, also a member of Arlington First Baptist Church, Della was very active in the church, assistant Sunday School Teacher, in the Home Makers class, Choir director for many years and served on many church committees. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by several brothers. She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Wagoner of the home, three children, Catherine Feltner and husband Ronald of Seaford, VA., Vann Clanton and husband David of Jonesville, Mitchell Wagoner and wife Amy of Elkin. Brother, Donald K. Temple and wife Brenda of Piney Creek, Sparta, sister, Shirley Hoyle and husband Bob of Jonesville. Grandchildren, Levi Shore, Ian Wagone! r, Tyler Wagoner and Courtland Wagoner. Great-Grandson, Silas Shore. Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, 11 a.m., December 7, 2010 at Arlington First Baptist Church, by Pastor Jerry Fugate and Rev. Russ Nixon. Mrs. Wagoner will lie-in-state from 10:30-11:00 a.m., burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Levi Shore, Ian and Tyler Wagoner, Alfred Wagoner, Ron Fetner, and David Clanton. The Wagoner family will receive friends Monday night, December 6, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Baptist Children's Home or Tri- County Crisis Ministry of Jonesville. Johnson Funeral Home of Elkin is serving the Wagoner family.
