Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Mae Pauline (Peggy) Davis Angell; four children: Jean (Morris) Smith, Kay Angell, Ed, Jr. (Lynn) Angell, and Debra Angell; three grandchildren: Lana (Steve) Young, Tina Smith, and Davis (Vickie) Angell; and three great-grandsons: Graham Young, and Hunter and Troy Angell. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, December, 4, 2010 at Huff Funeral Home, East Bend, with a Funeral Service to follow in the Huff Chapel with Pastor Randy Starkey officiating. Interment will follow in East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the East Bend Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 112 Fairground Road, East Bend, NC 27018.
