Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 31, 1932 in Yadkin County to William Frank and Zola Howell Mackie. Mr. Mackie was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He worked for nearly 20 years at Hanes Knitting and later retired from Fairchild Industries. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed farming. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jessie Smith Mackie. He is survived by three daughters, Lynette Coble and husband, Bobby, Kay Adams and husband, Tim and Donna McCallister and husband, John; seven grandchildren, Greg Coble and wife, Kristy, Brandon Coble, Kyle and Kelly Adams and Jessica, Adam and Ashley McCallister; and two great-grandchildren, Caden and Caleb Coble. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Macedonia Moravian Church with Dr. Worth Green officiating. The family will receive friends fr! om 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
