He was born January 10, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Allen and Ruth Hoots Lynch, who both preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving paternal aunt, Myrtle Allgood, and uncle, Clarence Allgood, who both adopted and raised him from birth; a sister, Elaine Allgood Reavis; and a brother, Jerry Lynch. Mr. Lynch worked in construction work throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado. He was currently employed by Bumgarner Services in North Wilkesboro, and was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are his son, Bobby Joe (Rosalie) Lynch; grandchildren, Jody (Tracia) Lynch, Melissa Taylor (Aaron Hill); Landon (Audry) Lynch, Tiffany Lynch; great-grandchildren, Kaylen Fields, Kayden Taylor, Isaiah Hill; sister, Mary Anna Lynch; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, including, Ellen and Neal Vaught; and ! friends, including Dorothy Lynch. The family will receive friends from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Monday April 26, 2010 at Deep Creek Baptist Church. His Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. Monday at Deep Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Page, officiating.
