She was born November 28, 1922 in Yadkin County to the late John and Nora Bell Cranfill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale Wetzel Thomasson; sister, Grace Hemrick; brothers, Joe Cranfill, Ed Cranfill. Surviving are her daughter, Melinda (David) Felts; grandsons, Dale R. Hemrick, Derek R. (Ginny) Hemrick; great grandson, Samuel David Hemrick; brother, Bobby (Margaret) Cranfill; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Flat Rock Baptist Church by Dr. Joey Tomlin. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, prior to the Service at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Memorials can be made to Flat Rock Baptist Church Children's Ministries, PO Box 267, Hamptonville, NC 27020.
