She was born February 1, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Wylie Frank and Rebecca Mae Myers Cummings. Ms Prim was retired from A.T.& T. and Sara Lee Corporation. She was a faithful member of Charity Baptist Church, where she was active with mission trips and enjoyed helping other members, neighbors, family, and friends. She participated with Relay for Life and loved to go shopping. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her 2 brothers and a sister. Surviving are her children, Ray (Gail) Wyatt, David (Kandi) Wyatt, Kyle (Sherry) Wyatt, Bryan (Beth) Wyatt, Christi Prim and fiance', Mark Matthews; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; and special friends, Rosetta Phillips, Elsie Mae Jester, Juanita Parker, and Irene Blevins. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. He! r funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Eddy Driver. Burial will follow in the Charity Baptist Church Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to either Yadkin County Relay For Life, In Memory of Bertha Prim, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407 or to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Willowbrook Healthcare and Mountain Valley Hospice for all the loving care, prayers, and support given to them.
