Shore, 83, of Harris Road, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. He was born August 26, 1926 in Yadkin County to the late Calvin Reid "C.R." and Fannie Money Shore. Mr. Shore was a simple, hard working, husband and father. He was also a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Bertha Shore; a son, Danny Lee (Tao Thi) Shore; and a daughter, Ann Shore (Wendell C.) Davis; a step-son, Timmy Joe Brown; and a step-granddaughter, Krystle Brown. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, in the Gentry Family Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Tucker officiating.
