She was born October 16, 1928 in Yadkin County to the late Thad & Thelma Sprouse Casstevens. Mrs. Mounce was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Harold Casstevens. Surviving is her beloved husband of 62½ years, Crawford Mounce of the home; her daughter, Robin Mounce Moxley and husband, David, of Boonville; a sister, Gayle C.H. Wray and husband, Alec, of Clemmons; a brother, Jay Casstevens and wife, Jackie of Boonville; sister-in-law, Wilma Gentry Casstevens, of Hartsville SC; two grandchildren, Tara Moxley Strickland and husband, Marc, David "Davey" Moxley and fiance, Ashten Cornelius; great-granddaughter, Parker Grace Strickland; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m.! Saturday at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Charles Turner and the Rev. J.P. Sizemore. Burial will follow at Mitchell's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
