She was born in Yadkin County on May 31, 1924 to the late Charles M. and Emogene Trivette Renegar. Epsie worked hard all her life doing different jobs and always helping other people. She ended her working years retiring from J.H. Craver and Son. She enjoyed working in her flowers and yard when she was able. She also enjoyed listening to her favorite music. Epsie was an excellent cook and always wanted to cook for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Renegar of Yadkinville; and her son, Donald (Rebecca) Renegar of Yadkinville. She is also survived by a sister, Alice Dobbins of Yadkinville; brother, James "Jim" (Vetral) Renegar of Yadkinville; special niece, Lacy Hutchens, who was like a sister to her. Other special survivors are Lacy's children and their families and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, ! she was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Billy Seats and the Rev. Georgianne Jones. Burial will follow at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Jerry Ziglar, her primary physician for the last several years.
