She was born August 13, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Joe and Viola Speer Willard. Mrs. Snow was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and homemaker for her family. She enjoyed working in her garden, flowers, crocheting, and was a member of Nebo Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Snow, who passed away 17 years ago to the date that she died, January 26, 1993; and by a brother, James Willard. Surviving are her children, Ricky (Libby) Snow, Hamptonville; Judy (Johnny) Dixon, Yadkinville; granddaughter, Whitney Snow, Hamptonville; step-granddaughter, Denise (Michael) Leach, Chicago, Illinois; step-grandson, Richard Dixon, Clemmons; three sisters, Jessie (Buck) Matthews, East Bend, Nellie Vestal, Marie Cheek, both of Yadkinville; a brother, John Willard, Boonville; and s! everal nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Reece Wall and Brother Lawrence Warden. Burial will follow in the Nebo Church of Christ Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to Magnolias over Yadkin Assisted Living, Yadkin Nursing Center, 8th Floor Palliative Care, I.C.U. Unit 1, family and friends, for all the prayers and loving care given to Mrs. Snow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Nebo Church of Christ Cemetery, Boonville, NC 27011 or to a charity of the donors choice.
