Bob, I cannot find a John A Hall, born abt 1864 and died 1914. Do you have the record. I have a John A Hall, son of Zebedee and Martha Carmichael Hall, born 20 July 1860 and died 31 July 1884. He is buried at East Bend Baptist. John's brother was William Fountain Hall, willilam Fountain married Martha Floella Davis in 1878,. she was a da of John and Joanna Truelove Davis, had a son named Gertie Hall,.(Maybe Gertie was his uncles informant) John W Hall or Hale married Martha "Mattie" Davis in Yadkin co July 22 1884. This Martha is da of robert J davis and Mary Norman Davis. I cannot find anything of this John W Hall or Hale.
