He was born April 25, 1941 in Yadkin County to the late Giles A. and Lillian Hutchens Driver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Jane Thomas, Ronnie Driver, Michael Driver; step-son, Bobby Yarboro; brothers, Rufus Driver, Bruce Driver, Ruben Driver, Frank Driver, John Henry Driver; sisters, Roxie Caudle, Ruth Caudle, Nellie Mae Bolin, Ernestine Driver. Surviving are his son, Tim Driver; step-children, Martha Yarboro, Jimmy Yarboro; former wife, Patsy Driver; brothers, James P. (Kay) Driver, Miles (Brenda) Driver; sister, Mary Lou Trivette; grandchildren, Michael Driver, Makayla Driver, Donta Driver, Brandy Paschal, Lorie (Jay) Wall, Amanda (Keith) Queen; and several nieces and nephews. His Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Doug Cothran and Brother Lawrence Warden. Burial will foll! ow at Deep Creek Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
