She was born October 13, 1925 in Wilkes County to the late Andrew Carey and Mae Dowell Pardue. Mrs. Royall was a faithful member of Gospel Way Baptist Church and was retired from the Yadkin County School System with 33 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker for her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Tharpe, and six brothers, Walter Pardue, Ray Pardue, Ralph Pardue, Lawrence Pardue, Dean Pardue, and Ancil Pardue. Surviving are her devoted husband of 64 years, Hillary Junior Royall, of the home; daughters, Daphne (Bill) Marler, Donna (George) Doub; son, Brent (Susan) Royall; grandchildren, Jeronia Morsch, Billie (Rodney) Wylde, Don (Kristen) Doub, Weston (Miranda) Doub, Matt (Mandy) Royall, Lachelle (Travis) Howard; great-grandchildren, Madison Morsch! , Boeing Doub, Emmie Doub; and sisters, Jessie Lee Ester and Pat Johnson. Her funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, in the Gentry Family Chapel by Preacher Harold Parker. Burial will follow in the Gospel Way Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
