I realize that doesn't help you much and you might need to get someone to do a deed search to see where the property is located now, but you might contact Andrew Mackie who has surveyed most of the family cemeteries in Yadkin. The graves shown in the Hoots book are: Messick, L. M. (age 86-9-17, d. 12-25-1874) Messick, EVM (Elizabeth Verlinda Windsor) (no DOB, d. 10-29-1851) Messick, Elizabeth (no DOB, d. 12-26-1826) Messick, L. R. (b. 2-9-1822, d. 4-23-1884) Messick, Mariam (no DOB, no DOD) The L. R. Messick & Elizabeth are probably children of Leonard and Elizabeth. Also, L. M. Messick & Elizabeth Windsor were married in Surry County on 5-2-1808, book A, page 4076. Also, in Surry there is a marriage of Lewis R. Bob, I grew up on the Current farm next to the Henderson's we had a cemetery on our land with Messicks burried there. I played there as a child. I think that is the one you are speaking of.
