Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Nancy was born October 5, 1938, in Yadkin County, NC, to the late John M. and Jewel Long Davis. She retired in September of 1994 from Westinghouse and was a member of Faith Chapel on Motor Road in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Cave was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Cave; and her brother, Jimmy Davis. She is survived by her son, Timothy Cave (Cindy) of Winston Salem; daughters, Ceanzy Eagle of Winston Salem, Phyllis Sockwell (Reid) of McLeansville; brothers and sisters, Gene Davis (Jean), Tommy Davis (Charlotte), Mary Alice Brewster (Corky), S.L. Davis (Judy), Charles Davis (Denise), Eddie Davis, and Martha Beck (Wayne), and her grandchildren, Jamie Key, Matthew Cave, Kristen Jennings, Mikayla and Cameron Sockwell. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2010, at Huff Funeral Home in East Bend. A Funeral Ser! vice will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Huff Funeral Home with Pastors Dwight Cartner and Bill Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Church Cemetery on Hwy 67 in East Bend. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kate B.
