He was born May 22, 1918 in Surry County to the late William Abner (Tood) and Levora (Vo) Williamson Snow. Cleve was a loyal and faithful member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his time outside: farming, hunting and fishing. Pa enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially the great-grandchildren. Pa was a very loving and caring person who always had a pocket full of candy for everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara "Tishie" Hawks Snow whom he was married to for 66 wonderful years; a loving daughter, Faye Willard; and a special great-grandson, Nathan Willard. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Famie and Norma; and brothers Kermit, Jim and Buck. Cleve is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Vicky Snow of Yadkinvill! e; daughter and son-in-law, Lucille and Ronald Shore of Yadkinville; son-in-law, George Willard of Yadkinville; he is survived by seven grandchildren: Tammy and Jody Smith, Jeanne and Mark Faircloth, Jeff Shore, Andy and April Willard, Mike Shore, Dana and Jamey Martin and Brian and Keri Shore; and ten great-grandchildren: Madison Faircloth, Kayla Smith, MacKenzie Faircloth, Audrey Shore, Lindsay Ray, Megan Smith, Annabelle Shore, Noah Shore and Logan Martin. Pa was also awaiting the arrival of another great-granddaughter in November. Cleve is also survived by two sisters, Lala Doss and Thelma Jurney; and three brothers, Fonzo "Bum", Foster and Spencer Snow. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Deep Creek Baptist Church, Old Stage Road, Yadkinville. The Service will follow at 5:30 with the Rev. Rick Page, officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff, Mike and Brian Shore, Andy Willard, MacKen! zie Faircloth, Bill Weidner, Jody Smith, Mark Faircloth and Jamey Mart in. Honorary pallbearers will be U.E. Martin, Woody Gough, George Willard, Carl Phillips and Chris Disher. Memorials may be given to Deep Creek Baptist Church, Youth and Children's Program 2401 Old Stage Road Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family would like to say thank you to New Horizons Home Health, Dr. Shore and the staff of Yadkin Valley Community Hospital, Mountain Valley Hospice, Dr McGrath and staff, and all the special friends that have been so kind to our Daddy and Pa over the past several years, he loved you all so dearly.
