He was born November 28, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Hershel and Opal Davis Adams. Mr. Adams retired from Unifi Inc. with several years of service. He loved going to the local ball games and enjoyed spending time with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma Sue Adams and Barbara Adams Reid. Surviving are his brothers and sister, Bobby (Dot) Adams, Lewisville, Donnie Adams, Dobson, Margaret (Ubie) Slater, Lewisville, Kelly (Donna) Adams, Pinnacle; special friend and neighbor, Novella Adams; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Dr. Allen Barker. The family will receive friends immediately following the Service.
