He was born August 2, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Isaac Leo and Esther R. Shore. Mr. Shore was retired from J.M. McKnight & Son in Courtney. He was a member of Turners Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Shore was an active gardener, and enjoyed giving his produce away to family and friends in the community. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Surviving are his beloved wife of 57 years, whom he loved with all of his heart, Louise Cline Shore, of the home; 4 children, Brenda (Chris) Brown, Yadkinville; Dean (Ginger) Shore, Clemmons; Mickey Shore, Yadkinville; Rickey Shore, Maury, NC; grandchildren, Ritchie Puckett, Brandon Shore, Charity and Chasity Shore, Alicia Zimmerman, Madison Shore; 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Colleen Ball; 2 brothers, Ronald Shore, Harold Shore; and several nieces, nephe! ws, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Turners Creek Baptist Church by Dr Bobby Russell and Dr. Allen Barker. He will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center I.C.
