He was born March 31, 1935 in Yadkin County to the late Jesse Savannah & Laura Lucinda Wilkins Livengood. Mr. Livengood was a member of Hanes Grove United Method -ist Church but he attended Grace Bible Church. He worked for 15 years at R J Reynolds, 28 years at Pleasants Hardware in Winston-Salem and 13 years with Yadkin County Board of Education as a Courier. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roy James Livengood. Surviving are his wife of 52 years Sue Dwiggins Livengood of the home; a daughter Susan Livengood Brannock; a grandson Alex-ander Lee Brannock; four sisters Doris Livengood Holder, Lewisville; Jean Liven-good (Tom) Reavis, Hampton -ville; JoAnn Liven-good Renegar, Mocksville; Bonnie Livengood (Dan) Hampton, Hamptonville; three brothers Jesse Edward (Louise) Livengood, Winston-Salem; Lester Ray (Jeanette) Liven-good, Hamptonville; Donnie Gray (Pam) Live! ngood, Hamptonville; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Saturday Sept-ember 4, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 4:30 PM Sunday September 5, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Steven Harrelson, Wayne Simmons and Junior Thompson. Burial will follow at Hanes Grove United Methodist Church. The family would like to say a very special thanks to Margie Willard and Kathy Reece of Mountain Valley Hospice.
