Mrs. Dinkins was born in Yadkin County on August 23, 1915 to the late John & Lillie Groce Allgood. Surviving are her husband of 74 years Paul Franklin Dinkins; her children Pauline Dinkins (Harvey) Parks, Winston-Salem; Henry L. (Pat) Dinkins, Pfafftown; Margaret Dinkins Spillman, Yadkinville; one sister Versie Marie Shore; one brother Calvin Allgood; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday February 25, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday February 25, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel by the rev Scott Welch. Burial will follow at Turners Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
