Mr. Wishon was born May 9, 1916 to the late Ike & Ada Wilkins Wishon. He was of the Baptist faith and was a TV Repairman for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ruth (Gurney) Miller, a brother Elbert Wishon, a great-grandson Jesse (Bubba) McEwen. Surviving are his children Junior (Donna) Wishon, Robert Wishon, Marie Wishon; two sisters Virginia Wishon, Marie (Ralph) Carter; a brother Jack Wishon; sister-in-law Alice Wishon; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday February 20, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday February 20, 2010 at Gentry family Chapel by the Rev. Zack King. Burial will follow at Solid Rock Baptist Church.
