She was the widow of Hardy Harris. Born November 7, 1914 in Yadkin County, she was the daughter of Charlie and Della Wooten Hutchins. She was a faithful member of Manna Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Mills. Mrs. Harris is survived by a son, Calvin J. Willard and wife, Sharon, of Chesterfield, VA; eight grandchildren: Wanda Hill, Maria (Bea) Garrett, Dawn Smith, Aronica (Ronnie) Wilkinson, Jeanie Phillips, Jimmy Willard, Albert Morgan and Shannon Morgan; nineteen great-grandchildren and fourteen great, great-grandchildren. She is also survived by former daughter-in-law, Gloria Willard; a number of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tommy Berry. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at Manna Baptist Church in Winston-Salem with Rev. Bruce Freeman and Rev. Robert Motsinger officiating. Bu! rial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, at Salem Funeral Home.
