She was born Sept. 6, 1910, in Yadkin County to the late James Blaine and Ella Hoots Shore. Miss Shore was a life long member of Deep Creek Baptist Church in Yadkinville where had been secretary and treasurer. She had worked in the medical field as an LPN at NC Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and Davie County Hospital. Miss Shore enjoyed traveling and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Luther Shore, Rev. J. C. Shore, Clyde F. Shore, F.B. Shore, Thomas I. Shore and Henry L. Shore. Survivors include a sister, Angeline Tutterow of Clemmons; two sister-in-laws, Lois Shore and Sarah Shore, both of Mocksville; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, at Eaton Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lee Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Deep Creek Bap! tist Church Cemetery in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
