She was born October 17, 1923 in Yadkin County to the late Joshua and Sarah McKnight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Ann Matthews. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy (Roger) Felts; granddaughter, Teresa Felts (fiance, Grant Trivette); sister, Goldie M. (Harvey) Hutchens; and special friends, Eva Frye, Mary Annie Hauser, Diana Vestal. Her Funeral Service will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2010 at Pilot View Friends by the Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. She will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pilot View Friends, 3225 Pilot View Church Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
