Mr. Jester was born may 11, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late Claude Monroe & Nellie Ray Jester. Mr. Jester was retired from Thomasville Furniture Company and was a member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Billy Lee Jester; a sister, Nancy Williams; and a great granddaughter, Bailey Jester. Surviving are his wife, Lorena Brindle Jester, of the home; a grandson, Billy Dale (Amanda) Jester; two very special great-grandchildren, Connor Jester and Emma Jester; two sisters, Vera Holcomb and Carolyn (Johnny) Myers; four brothers, Claude "Junior" (Lois) Jester, Horace Ray (Ruby) Jester, Donnie (Dorothy) Jester and Ronald Jester. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday July 2, 2010 at Fall Creek Baptist Church by the! Rev. Don Hudson and the Rev. Jimmy Pardue. He will lie in-state 30 minutes prior to the Service. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family would like to send a very special thanks to Yadkin Nursing Center, Yadkin Dialysis, and Forsyth Medical Center for the loving care given to Mr. Jester.
