Violet was born December 2, 1918, in Yadkin County, NC to the late Riley and Etta Sutphin Bowman. She was a member of Union Cross Friends Meeting where she taught Sunday School and worked with the youth. Mrs. Caudle was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Caudle; two infant daughters, and her sisters, Ivy Martin and Nell Renegar. She is survived by her daughter, Lorine Reece of Yadkinville; grandchildren, Lori Wishon and husband Randy of Hamptonville, Jim Reece of Yadkinville, Lea Reece of Yadkinville and great grandchildren, Derrick, Tiffany, Stephen, Shelby, and Sammy. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010, at Huff Funeral Home and a funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with the Reverend Jim Martin officiating.
