She was born in Yadkin County, NC on June 6, 1917; daughter of the late Julius A. and Amelia Hobson Collins. She was the oldest member of Union Cross Friends Church. A Celebration on Life Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Mackie-Sinclair Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Nelson Puffenbarger and Archie Creed officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cross Friends Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home. Mrs. Wall is survived by her son, Hubert Wall, Jr. (Dianne) of Charlotte; one grandson, Ben Wall; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Wall, Sr. (1984); two brothers, Howard and John Collins; and three sisters, Blanche Ferguson, Mayme Hobson and Georgia McBride. The family would like to thank the Yadkin N! ursing Care Center for their loving and caring of Mrs. Wall.
