Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Walker was born in Yadkin County, November 8, 1920 to Charles and Ola Myers Chappell. Surviving are three sons: Charles (Bill) Walker and wife, Brenda T. Walker, Winston-Salem, Joseph M. Walker and wife, Sonya C. Walker, Sophia, NC and Richard T. Walker, Winston-Salem; four grandchildren: Susan Walker Fain, Shannon Walker Brazell, Stacey Walker McElveen, Mandy M. Walker; two step-grandchildren: Travis Knopfel, Tiffany Cockman, 11 great-grandchildren: Chase Suggs, Brady Brazell, Brianna Fain, Haylie Cockman, Whitney Cockman, Justin Smith, Nathan Nelson, Raymond Patrick, Grace Nelson, Raymie Patrick, Camron McElveen; and two brothers: James Chappell and Leon Chappell, both of Clemmons. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Salem Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will ! receive friends at Salem Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
