I think the website is wrong on one thing. Margaret Mackie was his mom and he married Catherine in 1900. I couldn't locate him on further census records, so you have opened a new door for me! He was married twice before. I cannot locate his first wife, but his second was Mary Loucretia Hanks. I am trying to locate the divorce record for he and Creasy, as she was called. They married in Carroll County, Va in 1899 and then he was out the door some months later back in Yadkin. Thanks again for helping me find him.
