Roger was born in Surry County on September 15, 1950 to Ralph and Lizzie Arnold Cook. Mr. Cook served in the United States Army and was a Mail Currier. In addition to his parents, he also survived by his wife, Ann Crouse Cook, of State Road; two children, Roger Allen Cook and wife, Melanie of Jonesville, Kim Cook Myers and husband, Jason of East Bend; four brothers, Eddie Charles Cook and wife, Kay of Hamptonville, David Cook of Elkin, Tommy Cook and wife, Beth of State Road, Rodney Cook and wife, Heather of Elkin; two sisters, Elizabeth Jenkins and husband, Gary of Dobson and Connie Casstevens and husband, Aubrey of Jonesville; grandchildren, Lydia Cook, James Cook, Weston Cook, Brianna Myers and Baylee Myers; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m., June 20, 2010 at Grassy Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Jerry ! Childress. The Cook family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. June 19, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Christian Children's Home, P.O.
