Henry Houston Harrison was born abt 1863. In 1870 Margaret no doubt was already married to her 2nd husband husband John Harris, as seen in 1870 Yadkin County. John, Margaret, and Henry H., all are listed as Harris. However Houston is listed as a "Harrison" step-son to John Harris in 1880, living with John Harris and Margaret There is a marriage record for a John M. Harrison b.abt 1835 son of William Harrison and Delphia Foster.The bond date for this marriage was Aug. 27 1861 in Yadkin County. Ancestry gives no bride for this marriage. I am of the opinion that John M. Harrison may have married Margaret Mackie, and John M Harrison died in the civil war.
