She had a one son, Huston Harrison. He is listed as John A. Harris' stepson in the 1880 census. It's so easy to take books as gospel, but sometimes you only get half the truth, right? I show Henry Houston Harrison, b. abt 1863, d. ???, was a son of John M. Harrison (son of William M. Harrison & Delphia Forrester) & Margaret Mackie (d/o Robert Martin & Anna Martin who were married 12-8-1817 in Surry County, Book A, page 3827). Henry married Martha Alice Holcomb 9-25-1887 in Yadkin County, she a daughter of Samuel Holcomb & Sarah Whitehead. Martha is buried at Center United Methodist Church in Yadkin County. They had several children but unknown what happened to Henry. And I've also found several errors, and omissions, of marriages in Yadkin County from Helen's book and the same can be said of Carl Hoots and Wallace Kallam's books on cemeteries too. But Helen's work is a treasure to have nonetheless.
