She was born February 5, 1917 to the late Will & Rose Wagoner Walker. Mrs. Sprouse worked with her husband on the farm and was a wonderful housewife. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thad Sprouse on October 24, 1998; a sister, Minnie Ruth Childress; and a brother, Roy Walker. Survivng are her daughter, Peggy Sprouse Boose, Boonville; two nieces, Katy Childress and Mary Golding; nephew, Jerry Wayne Walker; and a special friend, Susan Inman. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Vernon Brown, and Rev. Spencer King. Burial will follow at Center Memorial Cemetery.
