He was the oldest of twin sons born February 15, 1952 in Greensboro to Wade and Mary Emma Wylie. Mr. Wylie was a 1971 graduate of Grimsley Senior High School and a 1976 graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He was the Director of School Food Services for Yadkin County Schools and loved seeing and serving the children daily. He also enjoyed his role as the "Voice of the Falcons" for Forbush High School. Mr. Wylie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, where his favorite volunteer activity was shelving books in the school library. He was also an ordained deacon by College Park Baptist Church in Greensboro and also at the First Baptist Church of Belmont. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debora H. Wylie of Yadkinville, and two sons: Jonathan Wyl! ie and wife, Emily of Clemson, SC, Nicholas Wylie and fiancée, Mandy Doss of Yadkinville and granddaughter Lydda Grace Wylie. Also surviving are his mother; sister, Patricia Townsend, both of Julian; and twin brother Paul Wylie and wife, Clair of Linwood. A worship service celebrating God's work through his life will be held Sunday, December 28, at 3pm in the Calvary Baptist Church Worship Center by the Rev. Guy Hipp. A family visitation will be held following the service in the church dining room. In lieu of flowers, it was Mr. Wylie's request that memorials be made to Cancer Services, 3175 Maplewood Ave., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 (336) 760-9983. She was born September 11, 1954 in Yadkin County to Hubert and Inell Matthews Hayes. She was employed with Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for 33 years. Connie' s passion for helping cancer patients inspired her to create a special event called "Just for You." This is a quarterly event staffed by volunteers and made possible by donations from the community. This event had a zero budget, yet treated cancer patients, their family members and care takers to free meals, make over' s, hair cuts, chair massages, manicures, crafts, live entertainment, a DJ, educational resources and door prizes. Because of Connie' s vision, hundreds of lives have been changed. Connie is survived by her daughter, Jessica Hope Lloyd, of Winston-Salem and her former husband, Ken Lloy! d, Jr, of Kernersville, two sisters, Darlene Boyce (Eddie) of Kernersville, Teena Hauselman (Chris) of Greensboro and brother Randy Hayes of Winston-Salem.
