    3. Hunter, I do know that the survey for the Major cemetery in Wilson has not been published yet. It is well on its way, but not completed. That would be Maplewood Cemetery. I am hoping someone with the knowledge can respond to you about the newspaper and the funeral homes. I don't know when the Wilson Daily Times was started but I suspect the library in Wilson would be your best bet for old papers. ECU may have them also. I know that Yelverton Funeral home has been around a very long time also.
