Hi Everyone, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that helped me gather info about the Devereux clan and their slaves. I would also like to thank the people that wanted to help but couldn't, so they gave me great advice and ideas. With all the assistance people have given me our family book is looking good. With the help of FTM. For anyone that has forgotten or don't know, my grandmother's name is Lena Gray Robinson and she is now living in Wilson County, NC. Her birthday is March 29th but on the 3rd weekend in March, family and friends will help her to celebrate her 96th birthday. Saturday is we all visit the past. On Sunday we all get together and go with her to her church (New Mt. Zion in the Drake Community) and after church we go to dinner at a restaurant. All is being planned as I type. The Drake Community is located near Gold Rock (NC - Interstate 95). I have received some wonderful greetings and blessings for her. Thank you! If you or anyone else would like to send her a birthday card, feel free to do so. Please send it me and I will present it to her during her celebration at church. The cards and best wishes will be given to her along with her family history book. After she opens all her cards I will display them in an archive- quality album for her to keep.
