I am back from the NGS Conference in Richmond. I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot, bought a lot of books--old and new- and also about 18 tapes of lectures that I couldn't attend. There were 5 lectures a day and sometimes there were several I was interested in which were being offered at the same time! The syllabus itself contained 4 pages from each lecturer that summarized the lectures and gave sources for more information. I also got to meet a lot of really big names in both Genealogy and computer- related stuff. It was a wonderful experience and if the NGS is ever in your area, try to go. Tired but Happy, Carol ..
