George McNeil. I'd be glad to share. Please contact me offline at [email protected] The DNA evidence mentioned does indeed historically point to Northern Ireland, but historically, that does not mean that our Rev. George McNiel did not himself come from Scotland. Also, we have never been able to locate another male McNiel descendant of the Rev. George to test to be sure that the DNA from both lines matches and therefore confirms the DNA of Rev. George McNeil. The DNA did not match the McNiel's of Barra as expected, so it would be great to have another known McNiel descendant test. Glad to hear that cousin George is still doing well. He is a lifelong genealogist and a wonderful resource, along with being a very nice man. Roberta Estes (descended through the Rev.
