I appreciate getting this. I'm also interested in the will of this Thomas's father Thomas. I have the following brief abstract of Thomas's will: Thomas Holman will Wilkes Co. NC; written January 10, 1798; probate April 1798. Wife Susannah. Lists children Absalom, Reuben, Susannah, Rachel, Joseph, Daniel, Rebecca, Isaac, Thomas, Grace, Elizabeth, Jacob, Margaret, James. Absalom, Reuben and Susannah were singled out to receive two thirds of his estate while each of the other children were given 1 shilling. These three may not have yet married. Executors were Ephraim Davis and wife Susannah. Witnesses were Thomas Wade, James Profitt and Gorsham Thompkins. Will Book 1, page 487. If you have access to this will I would greatly appreciate a full transcript...thanks so much. My ancestor is a brother to the younger Thomas. My Isaac moved to Lincoln county TN where he died in 1834.
