The second picture is Samuel with a singing group that included the following people; Rev. C. H. Simms, Marlene Simms(possible child), Jim Gillie, Shirley Simms(possible child), & Zollie Parson. Gracie, I have a Zollie Parsons in my family tree. He was the son of William Gather Parsons and Julia Ann Blackburn. Zollie's sister Vetra was the grandmother of the late Nascar champion, Benny Parsons, who died last December. My Zollie was born February 08, 1900, in the Parsonsville community of Wilkes Co.
