This is very interesting, Charlotte Hale Atkins was the dau. of Alexander Atkins, which was the s/o James Atkins Sr and Mary Carson. Mary had a brother named Robert Carson, but I don't think this is the Robert that the letter from Frances to the court was referring to. He probably had to be of age to act in Frances behalf so he was probably born abt 1820 at least. There was another Robert b. abt 1820 that I have not been able to figure out who his parents were.
