Mrs. Nelia Paralee McNeil, 72, of Route 1, Ferguson. Widow of George Franklin McNeil, died at her home Sunday after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Elk Baptist Church with the body placed in the church at 1:30. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. McNeil was born in Wilkes County May 29, 1909 to Mr. and Mrs. Luther Triplette. She was a member of the Darby Baptist Church. She is survived by six sons, Kenneth McNeil, Akron Ohio; Thomas and Ike McNiel both of Ferguson; Charles and Henry McNiel, both of Lenior; Andrew McNiel Dututh, Georgia. Eight daughters, Mrs. E. C. (Catherine) Eller, Jefferson; Mrs. B. L. (Dean) Hyatt, Waynesville; Mrs. C. A. (Shirley) Johnson, Lenoir; Mrs. J. T. (Elizabeth) Marley, Ferguson; Mrs. W. E. (Jeanette) Holland, Ferguson; Mrs. Steve (Rebecca) Handy, Ferguson; Mrs. Vilas (Judy) Church, Ferguson; Mrs. Vilas (Stena) Payne, Wilkesboro; 35 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. ------------------------------------------ At time of death Nelia Paralee McNeil lived in her own home at Route 1- box 121, Ferguson, Wilkes County, North Carolina Nelia was a home maker . She died at 8:00 P.m. Cause of death was Cardo-Respiratory Arrest due to consequence of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma, Tumor Metastatic to Lungs.
