Margaret, I got my copy off e-bay about 3 years ago and only paid about $10.00 for it. I must have gotten a bargain, because Abe books doesn't even have it and Amazon.com has it in paperbook for about $51.00, used. Mine was published in 1983, is hard back and in almost perfect condition. It is about 6 X 9 and maybe 1" thick. Red cover. Mine covers the years 1778-1868 although again when I was in Wilkes I saw other marriage books for Wilkes covering other years at the Community College if I remember correctly. If you live close to a Latter Day Saints resource room, they probably have it or access to it because it is featured on Ancestry.com. However, having the hard copy is easier to see because of all the variations of spelling Ferguson and Triplett..
