I'll also check out Hawkins Co. TN since the years 1814-1825 are blank regarding Coleman's whereabouts. In other words, he seems to disappear from paperwork/documentation from 1814 Wilkes Co.     3. There were Coleman's in Wilkes co, NC also. I just noticed them on a census that I got from the Ferguson mailing list archives. On the1810 census on pg 272 there is a Charles Coleman. There are Ferguson's from page 272 to page 284. So they were in the same area.
