Can anyone tell me if there were events in Wilkes County that would have obliterated a family between 1840-1850? Disease? Weather? Aliens? Missing family is that of Miles LUFFMAN. Thank you for your consideration.
I saw on the Rootsweb "Luffman" Message Board that there is a lady who knows a lot about the history of the Surry and Wilkes Co. Luffman family. She invited people to contact her? I think her note was in Jan. 2004 so she might not still have the same address but that might be a possibility. ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <NCWILKES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, January 06, 2007 9:34 PM Subject: [NCWILKES] Wilkes County 1840's This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
