    3. Thanks. My Clifton did not have a Peter for a child. His birth is somewhat iffy. Some place between 1794 and 1800. There was a Peter Keeton that came to KY in Wayne Co which was next to Cumberland at the time. Clinton Co got sandwiched in between later. The first Keeton's to be on the Cumberland Co census was in 1820 and the names were John and William both married with children. Clifton showed up on the 1830 census married with his first child born about 1827. Oh how I wish I could find something on him that would be proof.
