John was born in Wilkes County, N.C. in 1780. I believe your Williams Laws was the father of David Laws, Sr. (who witnessed William's Will). John Laws (son of David) married a Sarah (Sara,Sally) Teague in 1802. Sarah and John had a daughter, Penelope Nellie Laws who moved with at least her mother and perhaps with her father John (if he were still alive for John died on 9 Mar 1835), to Saint Francois County,Mo. sometime betweens 1830 and 1840. My need is evidence of where John died as well as evidence of his death. Icing on the cake would be firm evidence that Penelope Nellie Laws was the daughter of John Laws (son of David) Can you help?
