My grandfather James Sanford Lyons is William Coy Lyons' brother. They were both born in Traphill and both travelled to Boone and settled there.Their dad was William Lyons and their mother was Mary Clarsie(?) Hughes. I have lots of family data on our Lyon - Lyons family and we are having another Lyons Reunion June 17, 2006 at Stone Mountain Park at the Hemlock Shelter and you are all invited to attend.
